Senior Mortgage Underwriter

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• The Senior Mortgage Underwriter manages credit risk by reviewing and properly weighing all aspects of mortgage and home equity applications
• This individual is proficient in all underwriting tasks and has experience with, and a solid understanding of, the entire mortgage origination process
• The Senior Mortgage Underwriter is a key resource for all members of the mortgage and home equity lending team.
• This individual must provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4+ years) in a mortgage underwriting capacity is required

Compensation

Base compensation range at hire (dependent on experience): $66,560-$74,360 annually
