Job Responsibilities & Requirements
The Item Processing Administrator oversees all electronically processed items such as teller work captured by branch personnel, remote deposits, mobile captured deposits, ATM deposits, and electronic cash letters.
This individual maintains a high attention to detail and accuracy in daily balancing, reporting, and file transmissions to the Federal Reserve.
The individual works independently and collaboratively with operational and branch teams to uphold service standards, maintain compliance, and ensure exceptional customer experience
This working hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm with overtime hours as warranted.
2+ years of experience in banking operations, item processing, or related financial services is preferred

Compensation
Base compensation range at hire (dependent on experience): $23.50 to $26.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be open to working at multiple locations and able to adapt to different management styles.
- This frontline position is crucial in creating a positive, welcoming, and inclusive experience for NSB customers; exceptional customer service and communication skills are a must. Previous cash handling is a plus!
- The Mobile Community Banker will be responsible for receiving and processing customers’ financial transactions as well as maintaining customer accounts and services.
- We are looking for someone who has the ability to develop relationships with our valued customers, protect bank and customer information, and maintain customer confidentiality.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent is required.
- Travel among our Northern Region branch locations is required (Burlington, Essex Junction, Williston)
Qualified candidates may be eligible for the Senior Community Banker role, dependent on proven experience:
*Senior Community Bankers will guide customers through loan processes, and have additional responsibilities*
*Senior Community Banker must have 3-5 years of branch experience plus a high school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent*
