Central VT and Chittenden County - Northfield Savings Bank (NSB) is pleased to announce $11,000 in donations to Vermont non-profits stemming from the Bank’s quarterly Community Giving program.
Third quarter Community Giving funding was spread out between eleven Vermont organizations, with the majority of this round of grants benefiting initiatives focused on supporting Vermonters in need as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"COVID-19 has increased the economic uncertainty of many of our neighbors, leading to a large uptick in demand for services from local organizations, such as those that work to combat food insecurity,” said Mark Mast, Vice President of Marketing at Northfield Savings Bank. “We feel incredibly fortunate to be able to help local non-profits boost their services in this time of need.”

The Northfield Savings Bank Community Giving program provides grants on a quarterly basis to non-profits that submit an application for funding

The program is one of the many ways that NSB fulfills its commitment to give 10 percent of annual profits to Vermont community organizations, which also includes the Northfield Savings Bank Foundation. Total donations from the Bank exceeded $650,000 in 2019 to more than 200 local non-profits.
