IT Network Engineer

Northfield Savings Bank is seeking an experienced and collaborative IT Network Engineer to join our Information Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting the Bank's network and computing infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable and efficient operations across the organization. 

The ideal candidate is a dependable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment whiles also demonstrating the ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers. 

Job Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and support the Bank's network and computing infrastructure

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

• Implement and maintain secure, reliable technology solutions that support business operations

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to plan, execute, and support technology initiatives

• Provide responsive technical support and outstanding customer service to employees and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, network engineering, or a related technical field required 

• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure and related technologies required 

• Previous experience working in a financial institution preferred

Compensation 

Base compensation range at hire (dependent on experience): $32.00-35.75 per hour
