Assistant Loan Operations Manager

Northfield Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Assistant Loan Operations Manager to help lead our Loan Operations team and ensure the efficient, accurate, and compliant servicing of our loan portfolio. This role partners closely with the Loan Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, support employee development, manage workflow priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Help lead and develop a high-performing Loan Operations team.
- Support loan servicing, escrow administration, collateral management, and operational processing activities.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, quality, and compliance.
- Resolve complex operational issues and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency.

What You'll Bring
- 7-10 years of banking or loan operations experience.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of loan servicing, compliance, escrow administration, and collateral management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation
Base compensation range at hire (dependent on experience) : $32.00 - $35.25 per hour
