Montpelier and Waterbury, VT: Northfield Savings Bank (NSB) is pleased to announce two organizational changes which serve to continue the tradition of friendly, top-tier customer service at our Montpelier and Waterbury branches.

Wendy Kellett: Senior Community Banking Officer, Montpelier
Wendy Kellett, a 28-year veteran of NSB, recently transitioned to the role of Senior Community Banking Officer at the Montpelier office from the same position at the Waterbury branch. Kellett oversees the daily operations of the office, guides the staff and works closely with colleagues to ensure NSB’s continued success within the community.
Kellett began her career at NSB as a Community Banker I in Waterbury, eventually overseeing the daily operations for that office, as well as the functions of NSB’s Customer Call Center. Kellett is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking, and received her General Banking Diploma and Branch Operations Diploma from the Center for Financial Training in 2016. She lives in Waterbury Center with her husband and two children.

Kerry Keown: Community Banking Officer, Waterbury
Kerry Keown was appointed Community Banking Officer in Waterbury, having previously served as Senior Community Banker in the same branch. In her new job, Keown provides leadership and oversight of the daily operations for the office.
An NSB employee since 2016, Keown has worked in the financial services industry since 1995; her resume includes community banking roles as well as managerial experience. Keown is a graduate of Babinda High School in Babinda, Australia, and has accumulated numerous certifications in general banking, lending and leadership. Her volunteer work includes involvement with the Evergreen Center, Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, and the Mad Marathon. She lives in Waitsfield with her husband.

“Wendy and Kerry are both integral parts of the NSB family. Their skillful leadership and boundless devotion to customer satisfaction serve to ensure a consistently warm and welcoming experience for our clients,” said Cheryl LaFrance, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Northfield Savings Bank. “We are proud of their accomplishments and congratulate them on their new roles.”
