NORTHFIELD SAVINGS BANK RECOGNIZES TIM BURKE AND BRIAN EAGAN FOR THEIR SERVICE ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Tim Burke, Brian Eagan

Northfield Savings Bank (NSB) recently announced that Tim Burke and Brian Eagan have concluded their service on the NSB Board of Trustees, the Bank’s governing body responsible for oversight of strategy, policies, and long term financial stewardship on behalf of depositors and the communities NSB serves.

Tim Burke has been involved with NSB for more than two decades, serving as a Corporator since 2003 and joining the Board of Trustees in 2008. He brought decades of professional experience in commercial real estate and financial services to his role on the Board. A seasoned commercial real estate agent and longtime team member at White + Burke Real Estate Advisors Inc., Burke has been with the firm since 1992 and leads its brokerage services. He represents clients in a wide range of capacities, with a particular focus on buyer and tenant representation. A former CPA with extensive real estate asset management experience, Burke is known for helping clients navigate and realize the full potential of complex investment real estate opportunities. His analytical perspective and deep industry knowledge were valuable assets to the Board throughout his years of service.

Brian Eagan has also played a longstanding role in supporting NSB, serving as a Corporator since 2009 and joining the Board of Trustees in 2010. Eagan contributed significant financial expertise and a strong commitment to community service during his tenure. In 2020, he retired from Vermont Mutual Insurance Group, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for 25 years. He remains actively engaged in the community, currently serving on the Board of Camp Ta-Kum-Ta and volunteering at Camp events for more than 16 years. Eagan previously served as Board Chair of the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce, was a board member of several state Guaranty Fund Associations and was a member of the Montpelier Rotary Club for 25 years.

“Tim and Brian have each made meaningful contributions to Northfield Savings Bank,” said Joe Bator, NSB President & CEO. “Their experience, judgment, and dedication to our communities have helped strengthen the Bank, and we are grateful for their service.”

“The strength of our Board reflects the commitment of leaders who care deeply about this institution and the communities it serves,” added John Lyon, Chair of the NSB Board of Trustees. “We thank Tim and Brian for their years of service and thoughtful leadership.”

NSB extends its sincere appreciation to Tim Burke and Brian Eagan for their service and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors. In recognition of their service, NSB has made two $1,000 charitable donations in their honor to organizations of their choice. Burke selected the Stern Center for Language and Learning, supporting work to expand the power of learning for all. Eagan selected Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a Vermont nonprofit dedicated to providing extraordinary experiences in a safe and loving environment for children who have or have had cancer and their families.
