J. Timothy Burke, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Northfield Savings Bank (NSB), officially proclaimed October 16, 2018 as Debra Kerin Day to celebrate Deb, who started her career at NSB 40 years ago on October 16, 1978.

The proclamation, unanimously backed with consent from the full Board, emphasized her selfless dedication to service in all of her roles at NSB including Community Banker, Assistant Manager, Community Banking Officer of Northfield, Community Banking Officer of Montpelier, Community Banking Officer of Barre, Sr. Community Banking Officer of Barre, and in her current role as Central Vermont Vice President of Community Banking.

During her time with NSB she has earned the admiration of her co-workers and the Board of Trustees, and she has nurtured two generations of NSB staff in attaining professional fulfillment. NSB has been a beneficiary of her steadfast example of leadership, and her home communities of Barre and the Central Vermont region have benefited from her many contributions.

Deb shared cake, decorated with NSB logos from her time at the bank, with co-workers and customers in the Barre branch to celebrate her 40-year anniversary and embrace the many years ahead of making a difference.
